La Chişinău au pus-o măcar de o scenă ca lumea, improvizată în toată legea (are până şi balustradă de protecţie), faţă de carul cu paiaţe şi “revoluţionari” de la Teatrul Naţional din Bucureşti.

E adevărat că scandările sunt mai puţin belicoase, ce să-i faci, decalajul de civilizaţie între Est şi Vest, dar avem toată încrederea că o să vină cu arsenalul de păpuşi spânzurate cât de curând. Hai că mai e de muncă! Jos Aliansul!

M-am uitat de mai multe ori, la Videogramme einer Revolution şi Piata Universitatii – Romania precum şi la alte secvenţe de la revoluţie, cât am avut răbdarea să revăd.

Şi, da, Ion Iliescu iese bine. E singurul care nu arată ca un clovn. Singurul care vorbeşte cap coadă. Entuziasmul de atunci e ridicol la cei din jurul lui.  Mai ales acum. Nu şi la el. El nici nu prea e entuziasmat, el are treabă, trebuie găsit un nume la organismul politic şi de stat care să nu “sune ca dracu”, trebuie continuată distribuţia apei potabile şi a curentului, trebuie realizat transferul autorităţii către noile structuri de la oraşe şi sate. După cum au recunoscut apoi Caramitru şi Dinescu nu au avut vână să facă ei un program politic, deşi mai erau prin studio unii care se pricepeau. Dinescu chiar mărturiseşte la un moment dat în Comitetul Central “sper să iasă bine”. Şi cam atât.

Altfel, mai e un securist care ia un microfon şi le vorbeşte ălora din faţa televiziunii, să-i calmeze, dar nu acolo era miezul, trebuia să o facă la TV nu în faţa scării. Asta e, ghinion. Maybe next time. Epocale imaginile cu Nicu Ceauşescu catatonic şi clovneriile lui Vlad şi Militaru, de asemenea.

Problema lui Ion Iliescu e că a devenit din ce în ce mai ridicol după aceea.

Eu l-am avut în poză la avatar pe Fidel (s-a operat şi scos din circuit), apoi pe Chavez (s-a tuns), acum îmi pun una cu Iliescu. Se pare că socialismul ştiinţific este la spital, de asemenea. Pericol?

Generaţia următoare este însă, între timp, capabilă să continue fără El Lider Ionico. Sunt adevăraţi profesionşti. De nivel est-european abrutizat. Exemplu: sictiriţi de câtă publicitate negativă au primit din 1991 până acum, au băgat la cap şi adunat, la rândul lor, pe cât posibil, o gaşcă cu: steaguri fără stemă pentru a semnifica lupta împotriva comunismului, pensionari şi tineri pentru a indica panelul social larg afectat de actulul regim, suporteri de fotbal pentru a pune în evidenţă oarecum jertfa sportivilor care ies în stradă să apere ţara (ăsta a fost unul din apelurile făcute la revoluţie, plus că suporterii au acum mai mulţi muşchi ca sportivii), Occupy şi Nazişti la un loc. Totul într-o supă picantă, genială, proba finală la licenţă. Copiii au crescut mari Nea Ionele, maari. Nu prea mai avem nevoie de tine, ba chiar ne e un pic dor.

On anohter note, I will resume my writing in Romanian since pictures from magical Kurdistan are everywhere on the net and even if I will upload some they do not need translation. An image is worth a thousand pixels. Or more. And I write about funny Romanian events anyway. Drop a line and I will translate them if neded.

The first one can be downloaded from the internets, for the second one you must buy show tickets on Broadway (there is a CAM on torrents, also, you must really like Mormons or CAMs for it, however. Each time I arrive home after a while abroad I have a culture shock. I have to readapt. It is true in time it got better. And I arrive now from countries like Algeria, Pakistan or Irak which helps also. It evolves from the horror when entering the country from Arad (this feeling of coming into an apocalyptic country was shared by others ,too, and it is due to the desolated scenery of creepy socialist factory ruins, crappy roads and litter, now a little better, also) to the first dialogue with the taxi drivers in Otopeni Bucharest or taking the old, dirty trains from Gara de Nord. And if they are not old, they are now expensive and still slow. And dirty where it hurts.

This year reality check was, what appears to be, the organized attack and beating of a guy, I witnessed in Braşov train station, in the underground tunnel.

But, I do not want to be so gloom. Here is a viral polar bear cub, only 3 kilos, insanely cute, even though I think about it as another showcase for the decline of this most vicious killer. He’s obviously struggling and in need of his mother (even though she might have eaten him).

For North Korea however, after the death of Kim Jong-il, his son, Kim Jong-un is the new poised ruler. Not much is known about him, however few footage so far clearly identifies him as the only fat person in North Korea.

Jacques Chirac even went insane not to appear in front of the Court while Adrian Năstase’s defence used the system for almost 7 (seven) years to get this verdict and used media in every possible way for the attention.

Jacques Chirac was the ruler of a productive (but socially suffocated) economy not to mention the mayor of the most recognizable city in the world. Adrian Năstase was the Prime Minister of an Eastern Bloc country under a nouveau-communist** presidency giving the Europeans the model against to draft all the M C V conditions and Schengen restrictions we face today.

Jacques Chirac supported Nicholas Sarkozy to the presidency but under his office he still got his ass kicked in front of the mounting evidence while Adrian Năstase had to wait a balled guy to be installed in Cotroceni in order to finally receive a call from the Prosecution.

UDP chose to give some money back in the context of the Chirac trial while the shitload of money that was manipulated by the Năstase family is not even under suspicion.

With these verdicts La République comes out in force with no real damage while Dâmboviţa comes out dirty, as usual.

Jacques Chirac says nothing while Adrian Năstase commented that his so called corrupt reputation can finally go away.

To assume that after a 7 year trial that exposed a sum of 400,000 EURO  you are still going to be considered honest is a lack of common sense. To say that in spite of the two other files open on your name by the Prosecution you are still honest and this is a political trial it is offensive. To forget that your own words “Aunt Tamara gave us the money” gave the title of your dossier and trial means that you are the Senile.

Daily Vegetable Basket*

The clash between Cornucopians and Malthusians is famous. Basically, the Cornucopians say that we should not worry about being hungry because we will always find ways to increase production, forever, while the Malthausians argue that there are not going to be enough Dutch vegetables for everybody. Anyway, you should not buy them!

For a better effect the phrase “I think it’s good not to buy Dutch vegetables” should have been followed by LOL, (wink) or a wanna get high sign. Another good follow up would have been to underline the horrible CO2 effect of vegetables. Oh, yeah, scary scary stuff! That would really get the pople talking not like right now.

So, stay off the vegetables, kids! Team porky over and out.
